New year day games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was hoping to see the battle of the world's two most overrated 5 minute wonders unfold, but with An-Dross the Ungreat injured I'll have to just settle for Januzaj the Anonymous

What I will say about the Spuds performance so far is that it proves anyone willing to take United on and have a go at the Theatre of Sleeps can get something. Lennon is taking Evra to the cleaners, Smalling and Evans are both carthorses of the highest order.

Not suggesting fort a minute that Sherwood is some sort of tactical genius but Spurs quick players are showing up United for what they are.....

And as I speak.....0-2.......beware the phone-ins will be jammed with plastics from Devon to Dublin tonight !!

Wtf is wrong with Moyes, why is Rooney their only decent player playing a deep role, should be up front Welbeck and Hernandez are gash.

Did Webb forget his cards today, missed penalties. United were poor again and deserved to lose.

For all the good it them.

This is so far turning ouyt to be the worst defence of a prem league title since Blackburn in 95/96. All we need is for Rooney to pick a fight with one of his own players on the pitch and their humiliation is complete.

As much as I hate seeing the Scum pick up as much as a point, seeing Manure lose again is fantastic consolation. They really are being shown up for the average players they are.

Take Rooney out of that team and they'd really be cemented as a midtable side.
