Weekend Games 18-20 January

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chavs 2-0, janusaz to get a booking for diving.

Best line today

From a 'dippers fan at 4:50pm 40mins before their game kicked off

"Top 7 just keep beating the other 13 teams,It'd be nice if someone dropped a couple of points now and then".

  At least he got his wish not sure he expected it to be his own team though

It may be moot anyway as without Rvp and the fat granny shagger I don't think they have a goal threat.
Hmm it's a pretty win-win situation. Either Chelsea drop points and slip a bit further away or United fall further into the wilderness and Moyes' eyes might actually burst from his head. Gun to my head I'd probably say the former would be better because I just don't see them finishing above Citeh.

Hope for something like a 2-2 draw where United luckily race ahead and then get raped in the second half and cling onto a point due to fortunate refereeing decisions. United still very demoralised, Chavs drop points and frustrated.

The Scummers go 1-0 up and the Sky commentator says "and the Tottenham revival continues" whilst reaching for the tissues

Didn't see much evidence of the revival a fortnight ago

If players' running styles are anything to go by then Hitzlsperger has found a 'special friend' in Aaron Lennon. The Premiership's mincing king !

2-0 to the Swampdwellers

Swansea aren't just "Arsenal Lite", they are "Arsenal Zero". Tip tap, tip tap, move breaks down, breakaway, sucker punch, game over

yet another penalty against them not given, there's nearly one every game, as you would expect with carthorses like dawson and vlad whatever his name is.

they are ridiculously lucky

Laudrup, last season's flavour of the month has well and truly crashed and burned this year. This will be 1 win in their last 9 home games and they seem to get worse ever time I see them.

Its hardly surprising. Last time I saw Chico he was on stage at Butlin's. Now he's scored an own goal

BBC text commentator mentions Greedy has as many goals in the league as DB, then states that Greedy is in the company of greatness to which a gooner texts in
"I can't believe you compared Greedy to a legend like DB10, the Chuckle Brothers have as many TV appearances as Morecambe and Wise but there is a gulf in class."

I could quite easily see both Welsh teams dropping out of the division this year. Swansea in free fall and Cardiff look doomed already.

1-3 Bony

The only player who hasn't looked Championship standard for Swansea today

If Wenger does not plan to seriously upgrade on Giroud then we could do worse then Bony in the summer, can't see Swansea selling him in january
