As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
what time before the game will it be unveiled? Where's it going, do you know?
I thought it was already in situ for this season. First time I went to a home game, I couldn't find it (obviously) so asked a steward where it was as wanted to pay hommage. Steward 1 discusses with steward 2 "where's Dennis?" then they sent me right round the bowl. Well I got a nice walk in the rain and wind anyway

Me too and I feel dirty even saying that
The man was an absolute genius and it's a travesty that his goal in geordieland has never got the widespread acclaim it deserved - best goal bar none in the premiership era
It's a disgrace that a short arsed injury prone drunk ass jackeen has been allowed to sully the name by associating it with himself
Don't know Lee1 but I'm not surprised augie is struggling to read.
The Dennis is the greatest player to have ever played the game. Genius. I will be following in Number 5's spunk stained footsteps right up to that statue, cock in hand (mine - not Number 5's! ), backpack of Kleenex ready to rock.

I'm telling you here and now that if it were a choice between the postman, billy big bollocks or the statue of DB10 to play up front against Sunderland.....I would go with the statue, harder than yaya and more mobile than Bentner!
Probably a daft question (but I'm a non-gooner so can't be expected to know) but what is the pose he's in? His first touch for his goal at Filbert Street?
Love the fact they've honoured him with a statue, but much like the other three, I'm not sure I really like it. Obviously it can't just hover in the air, but the massive pole coming out of it is just so prominent.
just saw an interview with henry and they asked him who was the best player you ever played alongside and without heitation he said bergkamp. they asked what about messi. he said dennis.

I think it is safctm - thought they might have done his celebration of the goal v tiny totts from Wrights cross, but guess it might have been too similar to Henry's (on knee's with fists clenched) agree the large pole (not szczney) does detract from it somewhat but none the less great to have him honoured.
There are not enough statues to pay tribute to this great man. It's a slightly strange pose to choose for the statue as it isn't exactly a memorable moment in an Arsenal career which was full of them.
On another note, the three players who have had statues all deserve them and although Herbert Chapman has one too, isn't it about time we had one from further back in the club's history? I'd like to see a Cliff Bastin or a George Armstrong one so that Wenger's era isn't the only one getting attention.

You don't think his goal of the season at Leicester was one of DB's most iconic moments?

I wanted it to be that but apparently, it's this rather strange choice:
