The classic tome that you keep referring to is also available in braille or audio, if you're that interested matey.

Rumour has it that the great book is bigger than the great man himself

Re: Pardew...
He is a total twatbag- he has had a formal warning so I guess 1 off a sacking.
- what I couldnt understand in it all was why Meyler got a yellow card- he could have easily gone down and rolled about like JW or OG, or been in need or an Oscar like The Cannibal but he took it well considering. Can onlo think it was for NOT decking him
Remember the AW incident well, and called Pelegrini a stupid old c**t this season, should get a very legthy suspension and a far heftier fine than 2 week or less wages

But seriously, haven't you a didgeridoo to remove from your arse? Or was "didgeridoo" just his nickname?

Re: Pardew...
What made the West Ham celebration incident even worse is that apprently Wenger had gone out of his way to give Pardew regular advice and guidance when he was starting out (at Reading maybe?).
When their fans' deluded expectations do finally catch up with him his rap sheet will make it a very easily-justifiable sacking.

Re: Pardew...
good for him. at least he's showing some passion rather than fiddling with his sodding coat all the time.
what he did was wrong and he should be punished and he is a second tier manager at most, but credit to him for showing some spirit.

Behaving like a first class c*nt does not warrant credit and am amazed that you would think otherwise

Even rugby where you are basically allowed to strike or enter your opponent in any way you feel has zero tolerance for the old eye-gouge. I would love for Mourinho to wind up Big Sam so much he turns round and batters him. Like properly batters him.Red Gunner wrote:I wonder if the journalists and the pundits would be as critical if their darling had acted this way in England:
It was worse than what Pardew did but the media still love him.
Re: Pardew...
The guy is a fool but it wasn't that big a deal - watch from 0.47 on the attached - now THIS is how to deal with a player - Kevin Muscat no less and he had it coming.

Re: Pardew...
Pardew has acted like a pratt on a few occasions, but the headbutt is being blown out of proportion.
It is common assault, but not ABH or GBH.
A fine and banishment to the stands for the rest of the season is OK, so is the public warning.
Sacking him is a bit much.
But he does seem to have an anger problem, and should take counselling/psychotherapy for it as he has failed to control it so far.
If I was him I would sit in the stands for the rest of my career, and communicate with the bench by radio.
Swifty - is that the same John Kosmina that had a spell with us in the late 70's?
