FA Youth Cup Semi v Chavs

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Matt Macey looks like a bright prospect

But mind you Szceszny will probably hold the fort for the next 15 years

Just like watching the seniors of the respective teams. Tip-tap-tip-tap lose possession they're all over us.

We are toss. Our youth teams are rubbish these days. Every time I see AFC giving live twitter updates on their matches we seem to be losing.

Didn't always used to be, the 09/10 team were the best in the country winning the Academy league and cup. They had a mixture of physical players like Sunnu,Emanuel-Thomas, a decent well marshalled backline and good midfielders like Lansbury,Jack and guy now in Germany whose name escapes me.

That team was decent and most of that team is making a career mostly in the top 2 leagues, here and in Sunnu for Lorient/Etienne I forget which.

This lot may have all the technical ability in the world but are infected by the same lethargic disease of the seniors, paceless, slow in attack, too f**king ponderous on the ball and overcommitting before losing the ball.

It's a f**king cancer and I am starting to wonder how much longer we have to stomach this sh*te.

When you are shouting at the kids in some meaningless bo**ocks game then it's time to find something else to do...Iron Man in on Film 4 at 9pm.

I had tickets for this but thankfully I got home too late to go. I spend enough time watching senior dross.

The lack of tactics and know how that permeates from 1st team to this level is actually scary... :?

He's been miles better in previous games, having a bit of a mare tonight though.

How did the best counter attacking team in the league back in early noughties become this slow , walking pace bo**ocks

Josh vickers after conceding a dreadful goal ,has played very well since just pulled off a great save could, have been 2-0 .as for the rest of the team there is no urgency no passion just going thru the motions
