Weekend's other matches, April 12-13

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Toffees on some run and getting the wee breaks in tight games as the saying goes "the harder you work the luckier you become"

You got to hand it to Mourinho. Loaning them Lukaku may have eliminated a rival...us.

Given that we're trying to end a massive slump to make a fight of 4th place with Everon I hardly think it's particularly crafty of Mourinho or that we're a rival.

Also I'm absolutely delighted with Spurs coming back for a 3-3. Still a useless result but more ammo for the pro-Sherwood mob :barscarf:

I couldn't find the Alex Song's a Tosser thread, so I'll do my crowing here.

Having been given a start following injuries to Pique etc, the Mong managed to give the ball away (so many bad memories come flooding back!!) and Granada scored and then held on to win.

Barca played AW's favourite tippy-tappy tactic and, with Messi off the pace, didn't look especially threatening.

I cannot bear the thought of the Mong ever being seen in a red shirt again.

Long story but I went to the hawthorns yesterday, first time ever. Then watched the arsenal in a tacky pub in Birmingham pub after. 8)

What a game it was, 3-3! Spud fans were TOTAL scum. I thought they were just like that against us from what I've seen before when I've been to NLD games. I was sitting near them and they sang throughout the minute silence!! i heard the sol campbell judas song and then I heard the fcuk off to woolwich song  And then after the game at the station they were picking on innocent albion fans... I honestly thought they just behaved like that on derby day.

wankers.

"Liverpool supporters have always had a reputation for their sportsmanship" - Martin Tyler on the 'Pool fans clapping off Yaya Toure.

Clearly he missed them cheering when he got injured five minutes ago.
