Cheers mate, our players have certainly found a set of balls this last few weeks but the way this crazy season has been im taking nothing for granted! Wish Chelsea had finished norwich off (mind mourinho wont be doing us any favours for a bit!) now just hope Arsenal do (and then win the FA cup)BournemouthRED wrote:you'll be fine mate. Doesn't matter, either way: win or lose we finish 4th; there's nothing at stake.safcftm wrote:Cheers mate, our players have certainly found a set of balls this last few weeks but the way this crazy season has been im taking nothing for granted! Trains booked, hotels booked.........was hoping it would be a bit more than the 4th place trophy celebration though. Anyone out in Norwich on Saturday night?

Re: Arsenal Vs Norwich vs Arsenal (Carrow Road Climax)

Someone needs to explain to Monreal that we weren't "Number 1" there and to Sagna that we weren't "Number 2" although we had played alot of that season as a heap of stinking number 2's...

They will be desperate for points so who better to roll into town than Arsenal with one eye on the cup final. Home win.

Hope Sunderland and WBA draw tonight to make this a nothing game for either team.. Only worry for me is a stupid red card (or any kind of red card) that puts someone out of the FA Cup Final.. Myler from Hull may miss the final if retrospective action is taken against him for stamping last night.

Interesting to see if Fabianski or Szczesny starts in this, as it should be a good indicator as to which one of them starts the cup final.

No way should Fabianski start the final. No rorom for sentiment, he's off in the Summer and there is nothing to be gained by him playing. If Scez is to be our number one keeper next season the he must play the final.BFG4 wrote:Interesting to see if Fabianski or Szczesny starts in this, as it should be a good indicator as to which one of them starts the cup final.

Didn't Szczesny balls up the last cup final we were in?rodders999 wrote:No way should Fabianski start the final. 50% to blame with Kos for me. Flappy is more likely to make a cock up in the final than Szez, Scez is the better of the two etc. etc.BFG4 wrote:Didn't Szczesny balls up the last cup final we were in?rodders999 wrote:No way should Fabianski start the final. Mind you ive not been to Yarmouth for years so don't know what its like these days.

Fabianski should start. No sentiment bt if you make a statement to pick a goalie in the cups, you should see it through regardless.rodders999 wrote:No way should Fabianski start the final. I'd certainly start with Sanogo, Diaby, Wilshere and (if he is going to play in the final) Fabianski...
Don't agree with playing someone you don't consider to be first choice in an FA Cup final just because of some commitment made earlier in the competition, but if Flappy is going to play then he at least needs a bit of game time.

Sentiment, honour, loyalty, making a statement... when it comes to a team selection for a cup final they tend to blend into one mate. Pick your best team. Might be a small factor if Fabianski had a long-term future here but it's a no-brainer.arseofacrow wrote:Fabianski should start. Tell that to Richard Wright, who played all the way through the rounds back in 2002 and got axed for Seaman in the final v Chelsea (which was the correct decision - as the club is more important than a player )arseofacrow wrote:Fabianski should start.
