Yes you do 3rd place team in all the groups then go into the europa league

i read teh rules. you are right. i thought that it was just the top two pots. i was wrong....

Nope - City have only been in the last 3, Liverpool have missed the last 4. Unless the rule has been changed this year which I'm sure it won't have (as it doesn't protect UEFA's favoured top seed and could have an admittedly minor impact on TV audiences) teams are kept apart not only in the groups but in the First Knockout Round.

We're 9th in the co-efficients table but as you said would have been Pot 1 even if United had got in as Valencia were never in remote danger of qualifying for next season's CL.
