ST, DM and RB. I'll be disappointed if we don't get at least 2 of the 3.
We'll have Joel Cambpell and Theo(and possibly Vela for such a low price) back to cover the wings.

Sign Eto'o and Fabregas then focus on some defenders. Send Dick Law to Eastern Europe with a briefcase of cash and sign some mean moody butch central no nonsense defender like Vidic. We should have a pipeline to Eastern Europe for defenders not go to France Ligue 2 for everything!

We need an eastern European who bollocks all his team mates if they haven't lost a tooth or two by full time.

Ffs stop with this bullshit about signing Eto - £120m+ in the bank and the best we can come up with is an aging chav reject ?

Striker - Fast and powerful.
Right Back - Sagna to leave and Jenkinson not yet good enough.
Defensive Midfielder - A tough ball-winner.
Centre Back - We lack enough of these.

Re: What position(s) do we need to strengthen most?
We need a PROPER - Fast, Tough, Deadly - Striker
Holding/Defensive - Midfielder - Arteta is already too old.
Right Back - Would love it if Jenko improved enough to command the position, as he always gives 101%, but don't know if he can reach the required standard (Dixon, Lauren et al)
Centre Back - We need a MONSTER who is Big and Fast and doesn't Panic AND Bollocks all the pussies in the team when required.
Goalie - The Pole is Too Chopsy and needs someone to knock him off his unchallenged perch.
Yes, I know that's five, but we DO need them.
But more than ANY of the above we need a New Manager

Those three players are not going to make us "as good as anyone" though. For what it's worth I've said Coleman would be a great signing, and I wouldn't mind Richards (although god knows what his fitness is like) although Remy is not really an improvement on Giroud imo.Gunnersaurus wrote:They wouldn't even need to be world class, just better than what we have here, Remy, Richards and Coleman (for example) are not World Class but they are improvements to the squad and are players that we could be buying without going all fantasy football on it or complaining about not being able to afford.northbank123 wrote:Yes, depending on the quality of the replacements. To be honest if you put 4 world class players into Everton's team they would be as good as anyone in the PL.Gunnersaurus wrote:Striker, Winger, Defensive Midfielder and Right Back.
Fill those spots and the team is as good as anyone.

Its not Giroud he will be improving on as its clear Wenger likes him, its Sonogo and Podolski on the flank (if need be)northbank123 wrote:Those three players are not going to make us "as good as anyone" though. Remy Giroud and Walcott as a front 3 could be pretty effective if thats the way he goes about it or if not he is quick and has a 1 in 2 in the league which makes him every bit of an upgrade as the lampost.
People need to stop dreaming about Benzima or anyone it that price range.

We need at least eight more central midfielders

Worst
four
choices
Ever.
Our squad is far too small, simple as that- we need at least 7 or 8 players in, but we may get our broken fax machine exchanged and nil else at this rate.
