Besiktas away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Demba Ba will have a field day if we defend set pieces like we did on Saturday.

1-1.

Being optimistic we need to do well in this match and should do ok. If we can come back 2-0 up we'll be alright.

Kos and Gibbs probably out. That will mean that BFG might have to start and he got back just last Monday. A bit of a gamble I would say...

Was it a huge surprise to Wenger that Werm is going to be sold and BFG isn't ready just yet and that we are very thin in back? Kos has probably carried his achilles problem for a while so there shouldn't have been big surprises too.

We will probably get a result from this one but still I'm a bit afraid...

Arsenal must beat Besiktas to earn a place in the Champions League group stage, "no matter what it costs", says manager Arsene Wenger

just seen this quote from Wenger.

so (as we all should know by now) he will be playing as full a strength side as possible tomorrow night and to hell with the consequences for Everton away on Saturday. in fact if we get a bad result tomorrow expect to see a reserve side on Saturday because he will then be under enormous pressure ahead of next week's second leg.

yes but hence the quote from Wenger about winning this match at any cost.
if Koscielny is out injured until Christmas as a result of playing tomorrow night when he shouldnt be then that is ok in Wenger's mad little world where the pursuit of the CL money is far more important than anything else

According to AW, Postie's hamstrung :barscarf: so he'll have to go with Campbell. On the downside Gibbs is out.

Wrong thread I know but did not want to start a mc dowel thread (vanity thread), bought tickets today for the Hull match in October, when did it become impossible to pick your seat?, best I could do was pick a seat in block and all I got was the number of the seat, could not see it on the stadium plan before I bought it. I know moan moan moan but I like to know where I'm sitting before I select the ticket.
