Victims FC back in Europe

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So I am a moron, well I am in good company on this forum. There are a lot of posters on here who feel the same about Liverpool FC and their persistently bleating fans. I respect the history of that club but not their attempts to airbrush the parts they don't like out of it.
I also hate rugby, so I would have no idea what the atmosphere is like at it.
Not sure this is a good argument as I'm sure you would have heard the same argument in Berlin 1943. However, if the victim's reference is wider to encompass what GranadaJoe said about Suarez, the t shirts in support etc.. Then fair enough but I still think it's a bit tasteless as it can be misconstrued. If we called Chelsea Victims FC then it wouldn't be an issue as they have not had a high profile loss of life during a match

Misconstrued by who exactly ?? Every football fan in Ireland and the uk knows them as the victims cos every single fcuking thing that happens is someone else's fault  They never accept responsibility for anything and that is why they are and always be known as the victims and if that offends your view of football and of us supporters then I don't really give a flying fcuk  That is the lamest attempt at pc outrage that I have ever seen on here

had one of their gobshite fans give me grief once for have a quick browse of the sun which was left on the break desk at lunch once, started going on about the lies and said I should throw it in the bin. I didn't raise to it and just told him it wasn't mine, but he kept going on about it. give them a chance and they'll never shut up about it, baring in mind this fella was in his late twenties and obviously had no experience of the original events I found it fucking nauseating tbh.

that said, I'd never speak ill about the dead at hillsbrough or make any reference to it if I was in the presence of one of their fans, as for heysel I would bet they wouldn't want to hear it either.

It must have been a mistake. No bin dipper that I've ever seen has ever needed a break desk because they've never been anywhere near a job.

I tweeted SkyBet for odds on the victims finishing last in their group.

Their fucking neurotic supporters gave me a torrent of abuse. To find that tweet, they had to go out of their way to search "Liverpool finish last in champions league group". No doubt they gave it to others as well.

By the sounds of it a dive for a stoppage time penalty allowing Stevie G to bury those amateurs.

I can almost hear it from here:

ANOTHER MAGICAL EUROPEAN NIGHT AT ANFIELD, HOW THE COMPETITION HAS MISSED THIS. PLEASE STEVEN GERRARD LET ME JUST TOUCH YOUR PENIS. I JUST WANT TO TOUCH IT.

Kallstrom, to say that the phrase "victims" when used about Liverpool FC or their supporters is anything but a point of view on their failure to ever take responsibility for anything is wrong. It is a term used for that reason only. If it upsets you then I promise to never use it again on this forum as long as the terms, Scum, Chavs, Manure, Shitty etc are also never used again.
Their pen did look dodgy tonight.

You should've rolled it up and clattered the cu*t over the head - that would've shut him up.

How about ;
LIVERPOOL ARE RETURNING TO THE COMPETITION WHERE IN 1985 THEY BROUGHT GREAT SHAME ON THEIR COUNTRY ,

They were damn lucky chaps. I think Rogers will have a tough season with the P.L. & C.L. in the mix.

Anyone see their classy banners about "don't bomb Iraq, nuke Manchester" instead.

The banner is probably the fault of the Sun I suppose

My next door neighbour's nephew went to school with a lad who's older brother works for a banner making company and he told them who then told me that the banner in question was ordered from a Police station in Yorkshire.
