The Board-Finance-AGM

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

and thats not including sanchez, chambers, ospina, debuchy and welbeck.

it does however include wenger, gazidis, diaby and the useless shite we offloaded like park, vela, bendy, etc.

shameful mismanagement.

one of the things I've been saying for years is although we haven't made a lot of big money signings in the transfer windows which get a lot of media attention like other big English teams our wage bills have always very high.

this meme that Arsenal don't spend money is a bit misleading, because they've continuously overpaid for many young starlets and others who've either been injured or just never worked out.

arsenal have spent big in a way. And there's no excuse for one FA cup in nine seasons. Pompey and Wigan have that as well.

We piss 100k a week up the wall for Podolski to sit on the bench and occasionally get a brief cameo out of position. Ozil will also be costing an absolute fortune in wages, to play out of position.

In terms of midfielders we have Arteta, Flamini, Coquelin, Ramsey, Diaby, Wilshere, Rosicky, Cazorla and Ozil who all prefer central roles - yet we are indisputably light in one of our three central positions. 9 players and not one of them is any good at DM. We also list 8 or 9 forwards on our website. Compared to six defenders. At least we never play 4-5-1.

For years the talk was about how The shackles would be off when we offloaded liabilities like Bendtner, Fabianski, etc etc. the reality is Wenger will always find a way to spunk away a ridiculous amount on wages.

If there are two words that will get Flash into a weeklong wankfest of happiness, it's "finances" and "blogs". Put them together? Then it's a wankcoma for ol' Flashy. 8)

Fucking nutjob LOVES them.

Whenever I cant sleep i clock onto the Swiss rambler and in a few short minuets I'm snoring the pictures off the walls !
Shock Horror we stockpile cash instead of spending it, not so wise when u think that player prices are going up each year !

Still we can taunt other teams with the size of our massive wad !

The Rambler has more or less said that we have about £50 million to spend on transfers which is pretty standard across a lot of reporters as well. He also said that there was no need to raise ST prices which he has a very valid point there.

Stan Kroenke imposes a 3% ticket price rise on fans that raises circa £3m, then he bills Arsenal £3m for his advisory fees. How convenient!
