There isn't a drone that's been invented which is durable enough to take that job on

Not been since the 1-3 defeat by the mancs, said then I was finished until Wenker fucks off, but now I sometimes wonder if I will ever go back. The thing is I just don't care enough anymore, and can't even be arsed to watch on TV half the time.DB10GOONER wrote:nut flush gooner wrote:All said from an armchair over the Irish seaDB10GOONER wrote:Ah, there they are. Where he will remain until Wenger has left. I'm done giving this club my hard-earned. Not justifying myself here to anyone because I don't give that much of a fuck what anyone else thinks tbh () but straight up, and other travelling Oirish Gooners will tell you the same, we on average spend more per season than most ST holders (excluding those that do regular away days, I'd imagine). Doesn't make us better or worse fans or any of that old pony, but it is a lot of money. A very cheap trip for me is minimum €500 (match tkt, flights, train/tubes, hotel, beer, food). I did that for over 20 years, averaged between 10 and 15 games a year, most years. Throw in a couple of European away days per season too. You do the math. It ain't easy giving it up either. I miss going over and now my 9 year old Gunners-mad son is pushing to go to games regularly I'm in a real conundrum. Do I stick by my principals or do I give my boy his wish? I love my kids more than life itself. I think we all know what's gonna happen...
Blame DB10 he mentioned jcl's from over the water. Just tickled me a bit.Bradywasking wrote:Only on this forum could a public interest thread like this develop into a "debate" on another issue. Anyway I do not go over as often as I used to because I lost my job in November 2011and although I am now working part time I haven't the finances to spread around to allow many trips. I have four children (well youngest now 17) who have little or no interest in sport or Arsenal, that is ok that is their choice.
I actually prefer away days in the North of England now. But the most accessible clubs for cheap tickets and flights all went and got relegated. Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton. The price of flights depend on Man Yoo or Liverpool not being at home on any given weekend.
I am no less of an Arsenal fan because of this. As Arsenal fans why should we vindicate ourselves to fellow Arsenal fans because we are not from London ?
By that reasoning I should support Shamrock Rovers ...I take your point but imagine what it must be like for a Man U fan from Manchester or a Liverpool fan from Liverpool..there you would see the real glory boy jcls .... I do not think any Irish Gooners on here are any less of Arsenal fans because of our address.. Just an opinion, but wee suffer as much as all Arsenal fans.nut flush gooner wrote:Blame DB10 he mentioned jcl's from over the water. Personally I am old school and believe you should support your local team no matter how shite they are. If I wasn't a gooner I would be hardcore Barnet. This season aside they have been absolute pants lately.
Granted there are a few exiled north londoners on here but mehhhh all my gooner mates are local. Even my pal who traveld over from belfast lived in Edmonton for years. I never figured our why he wasn't a spud mind!
