Obviously I hope we win, but I'm not sure it really matters. We're already down to battling for the losers consolation prize of top 4 and it's only 10 games into the season :? - yawn.
Where has our positive g88ner gone? Glad you're back but you have massively joined the dark side while away.
Hi Chippy.

There's not much to be positive about though, that's the problem.

If you're going to sign a new contract then ffs get the squad finally sorted and use the FA Cup win as a springboard. What you don't do is go into a season with 2 bang average, off the pace defensive midfielders, have an endless string of attacking midfielders who almost all want to play centrally, have 3 average strikers and only 6 defenders. :?

Throw in another injury ravaged squad, out of the title race before the clocks go back and seeing Fabregas playing superbly for a street wise, balanced Chelsea  whilst we cluelessly stumble from one game to the next and you have very little to be happy about.

Alexis Sanchez is the obvious plus point, but Wenger and the other players will let him down all season until even he loses interest, as there's no way a player with that appetite and quality can be happy going for 4th place every season with little sign of progress.

On the plus side, it's almost Christmas.

Yeah, but no doubt Southampton are your new WBA for this season

everyone behind the ball and hit Swansea on the counter.

Hopefully Bony, Shelvy and 'Siggy' show us some degree of mercy.

battle of the Polish goalkeepers this one

i tell you what Chesney is getting off very lightly these days. he was appalling last night, he has no presence and his shot stopping gets worse and worse. ok he has a poor defence in front of him but is he really any better than Almunia??

Absolute bollocks, made a few good saves last night, collected the crosses that were his to catch and can't be blamed in any way whatsoever for the goals

Chesney IS NOT a top goalkeeper - if we expect to finish in the top 4 then we should have a goalkeeper who is in the top 4 in the PL. Hart, Courtois, De Gea, Lloris, Forster are all better than him.

But that's not what you were saying, and I disagree, I think he is as at least as good as de gea and you are picking forster based on what ? a few performances.

Shelvey suspended for this I think...imagine Arsenal FC worrying about a player of the quality of Shelvey....2-2 , most common scoreline in the Premier League this season apparently. Ramsey to score and all will be ok for him.

Don't blame Monreal. He's not a CH but because of the ineptitde of our mnager, he doesn't have anyone else to play there.
Unbelievavle that a club like Arsenal are in this position.
Another defeat by a decent side.................................

I just don't particularly care any more; there's a certain apathy that comes with knowing you'll do fuck all in a season. Maybe it'll make each loss easier to swallow.
