Other CL Fixtures 25/11 and 26/11

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Weird thing happening in Citeh game. 2-2, 5 mins to go...
I'm wondering why Pellegrini is not throwing 9 players forward and leaving himself open at the back?? Isn't that what all great managers do? :rubchin:

Keeps the media focus firmly on our tactically inept bumhole.

Arsenal-esque capitulation from Bayern at the end.

OGL said signing Alonso would have "killed" Denilson!

 Good point guys. I hang my head in shame - something our beloved manager is incapable of.

That is why strikers like Aguero win you titles and strikers like Giroud and Welbeck do not. The 2nd and 3rd goals were not world class but they are the sort of chances that Aguero finishes 80% of the time and that Welbeck and Giroud do not score. City were absolute gash but their striker had two sniffs of goal late on and that's the game.

That 2nd goal looked simple but was brilliant - two touches and a great finish. Absolute basics but not many PL strikers would take such good touches and would end up getting tackled, pressured or forced wide.

I wonder if Wenger "nearly" signed him too? Could have had him for about £12m in '06. Probably would have "killed" someone though.

with 10 men away from home , not really mate is it ?

now if it was us - we'd we be 2-1 up with 11 v 10, with 5 to go, and then lose 3-2, thats Arsene-esque capitulation

Last season I argued with some of my victims supporting buddies about how good aguero is - they claimed that the cannibal suarez was in the top 3 players in world football (behind messi & ladyboy) but for me suarez isn't anywhere near aguero's quality. The cannibal is a great goalscorer but aguero is an all round world class footballer imo 8)

Dunno about that mate. He might not be as clinical but he has a terrific work rate and I'd say he is as good as Aguero, easily.
