Other fixtures this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fair play to Pardew, thought he was a certain sacking and hes turned it round well. Whats the secret :rubchin:

He will definitely be odds-on for the sack at some point again before the season ends.

That West Ham RB has just delivered a peach of a cross for Andy Carroll's goal. I wonder if he is available in January? :rubchin: :wink:

Eh? Pardew had an away game where the away support was full of pardew out banners and where the pardew out chants started every time he stepped out of his seat in the dugout, the fans werent patient in the slightest. Hell www.sackpardew.com is still going now

FTM;

I know mate, It was a somewhat obscure reference to a large section of our support and their slogan regarding Wenger's long trophy drought.

He can't can he?

We should have bought that Jenkinson kid, he's doing well and it would have helped us if Debuchy, for example, got crocked for 3 months.

:lol: nah, nothing like that mate, i still browse most days and was going to stick up for ex-safc lad danny welbeck (i thought he'd be a good signing) but he started well so it seems hes already won most people over so there wasnt any need!

Main reasons im not posting quite so much is that i now spend all weekend at my girlfriends- finally moved to Sunderland when she got pregnant and our little boy (called Joseph, we wanted a normal name after she said no to "Nicklas" - and yes, i did seriously ask her, and then asked if it could be his middle name) is now 8 months old, shes going back to work and im having to look after him on my own on saturday and sundays, so im a bit busy on weekends- not even likely be to able to get to many matches unless her mam has an early finish on a saturday and lets me go, although i did get to go to liverpool on saturday which was canny. During the week i should try to post more but i never seem to get home from work until after 7 so i end up not staying up long (i have to work in Gateshead which is infested with mags!).

The other thing ive found is that the forum seems to be quite quiet nowadays. I realise that by posting less im helping contribute to this but you used to get a few replies within an hour, now i find you post something and it takes a while for anyone to be about so the days of having a decent length discussion to pass the time on an evening seem to have left for now. I'll try and post more though (and not just about Bendtner!).

One of the saddest conversations I've heard between two Gooners at the gym tonight

"Not really sure who I want to win tonight, Southampton or Man U"

"A draw is probably best for us"

Fuck me - getting stressed over how Southampton are doing and hoping Man U might not lose to them !
