Only a late Burnley equaliser or two goals for the Hammers can ensure that my 24 hour period of 'self love' gets an extension

wonderful goal from Nasri. they look a different side with Toure dominating the game.

I'm shocked that Soton can't beat 10 men west ham...

is anybody outside the two top clubs interested in who wins the league?

even the media have lost a bit of interest and are returning their attention to 4th spot fight.

sad for the league

Very true.

People used to say it was great for the likes of Chelsea and Man City to have this money because it will make it more competitive. It hasn't, it's just cemented their place at the top, replacing other teams. And now Chelsea are desperate for FFP to actually come in because after spending well over a billion to transfer them from a mediocre side, they want to close the door to stop anybody else doing the same.

Also that ref was a fucking coward. It was the right decision to send Barry off but he wasn't going to until the entire Chelsea squad ran around him to complain. And then he literally watched Ivanovic grab an Everton player around the throat a few yards away and walked away because he didn't want to have to make a difficult decision on that (never mind Ivanovic trying to put the head on McCarthy)

Tbh my interest in the league boils down to my fantasy football team,eg clean sheet for Terry and ivanonvic ,clean sheet for clyne tonight.

My only interest is us progressing in the fa cup ,call me old fashioned but I'm a fan who wants to win actual trophies ,not make believe shit like top 4 ,our only chances of winning anything are the fa and league cup ,u can forget the league and the CL is only a pipe dream.

it is sad but understandable - traditionally its been a 3 or four way race - but wonga and fergusons legacy have made it a two horse race. liverpool too, by selling suarez.

i reckon by 2017 both us and united will be back in it, regardless of money.

oil money doesn't buy you discipline, organization, tactics and hard work. as their resulst in Europe have and will show, both the chavs and citeh are fallible.

the Mail ws going on about 5 clubs competing for 4th. its doesn't look like west ham or liverpool to me - that leaves united, us and southampton for two spots....

Aguero double, Berahino and CIsse goals plus Ozil assist from yesterday has stopped the rot for me.

Just as well that these players aren't played in oil or managed by oil barons then. Strange comment given that Chelsea have all of those attributes in spades.

Neither does a senile old french c.unt  Even forgetting about his total lack of tactical acumen for a minute, he has assembled a squad of gutless fcukers who dont work hard enough for the team and have not got a fcuking clue about positional discipline :( If wenker stays until 2017 then we will be at least 2 or 3 years away from being a genuine challenger again because any top player we have will be gone, and a new manager will have to start educating our players about tactics and what they are all about - when you have players like the ox chambers or ramsey, these are the years in which they are supposed to be educated the most and learning what it takes to be a top pro, so how do you then take these players back to basics when they are in their mid 20s and know nothing else bar "freelance football" ?

Since Giroud got a 3 match ban for feathering that QPR players forhead then Ivanovic surely has to get done for what he did last night? Even though it happened under the fat fucking inept referee's nose he somehow "manages" not to see it

Mourinho is playing the victim very well, Fergie done it also in his prime..meet the controversy head on and it lowers the chances of a charge for Ivanovic.. I imagine there will be no charge because the "referee saw it "
Watched the game last night and after 10 minutes I would have put money on at least a three goal Chelsea win.. But as the game went on there was a nervous edginess about them , the overall feeling was relief in the end. Chelsea's lead in the table in a contradictory way has taken the pressure off City and the feeling is it is now Chelsea's to lose.
As for caring who wins it , no I certainly do not. The media interest is minimal also. last year the Liverpool love in was in full swing and in previous years there was always Man Utd for the media to hang their hat on. This season has become more about the Chelsea manager than the team.
