Champions League seeding changes

We haven't been in the top 2 in our league for a decade  and we've had zero impact on the CL in years! :?

Bingo.

I don't care if we've qualified 987 times in a row; our record in Europe under uncle Magoo has been shit, absolute shit.

The whole seeding system is ridiculous; if you're good enough to win it then why not win it from a group including Inter, Real and Bayern as opposed to one featuring Scumbag Village XI, Blind Dave's Casuals and one good team?

Does Fiorentina and Napoli being in the Europa semis make any difference to three v 4 Italian teams in the CL? Be a bit of a riot IF one of them won the Europa allowing "only" the top 2 to qualify into next years CL- or will make 4, and the third will also come in. At the moment it doesnt look like Fior or Napoli will be in the top 3.

It does confirnm that the PL teams are really badly behind the pace in Europe doesnt it when 3 Italian, 3 Spanish(And would have been 4 if Atletico had faced an non Spanish team) a German and Ukranean team gets to the semis.

Also shows how some proper tweaking and it would have been an easy double last season and possibly this one two. :banghead: :banghead:

If either of them won it and finished outside of the top 3 then Italy would get 4 spots. Europa League winner goes straight to group stage since Real/Barca/Bayern/Juventus will all have qualified through league position anyway.
