James 'Gooner' Degale also won away in Canada against a very good fighter.

Perhaps he was over-hyped to begin with but Bute has never been the same since Froch handed him a savage demolition to win back the SMW title. That said, I am slightly surprised by this result - fair play to DeGale, he has matured into a fine (if a little gassy) boxer.

UK boxing is in rude health at Present with Frampton; Selby(s); Quigg, Haskins; DeGale; Fury all holding belts and the incredibly exciting Joshua coming through too.
