MACKEMS HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We can't be far away from the ignominy of only being able to name 6 on the bench.
Who is this Wilshere person you mention?
Diaby's half brother.

FUCK OFF WENGER
Spot on. We're all bored shitless talking over the same things for the past 5 years.
Most of us have seen championship winning teams and this one is definitely not one of them.

Another season of the same crap, out of CL very soon, a 3rd/4th place finish..............its so fucking boring already.

Anyone else find it kind of ironic that Wenger, a manager who clearly likes to entertain and put on a show of positive attacking football has alienated the faithful and is slowly boring us into an apathetic state of comotosis.

I remember when I would arranghe my social life, family, holidays my entire life around Arsenal. It's not even December and I have about as much enthusiasm for the rest of season as I have for the next MOT on my car.

Move on Wenger, you're tired, we're tired.

OK so the season isn't panning out like I expected , I didn't even watch the Zagreb or Norwich gems cos like they said I have become comfortably numb !
Saturday we face a testosterone Pumped allardyce unit known for being utter shite a truly drab game awaits us !
I have a choice , go Christmas shopping with the Missus or go to this match !

No prizes for guessing I'm going to the match then eh ! :barscarf:

I look at a centre back partnership of kaboul (truly shite) and coates (even worse) and I cant help but think that we will win this. I then look at a team minus sanchez & kos (and maybe cazorla) and with giroud as a lone striker, and I cant help but wonder how the fcuk can we win this match  Such is the modern day life of a depressed Gooner

Absolutely the same mate. Our results would dictate my mood for the rest of that day, I would watch our rivals' games praying that they got turned over. I physically couldn't eat on derby days. Now I feel largely apathetic. During and after games, frustration is by far the most common feeling. With the exception of some of the CL snoozefests, I will still always watch our games but the emotion and passion is just nowhere near the same.

I was incredibly lucky enough to be taken to games every week from the age of 6. 12-hour day trips - fuck knows how much of my life that equates to in total. Paying my own way from when I could, amounts that could have gone on far more sensible things. It was a massive part of my childhood, huge part of my life and is an enormous part of the bond with my dad and brother (and even mother and sister). Most people on here will have similar stories about how much the club has played in their life. It's gut-wrenching that things have been reduced to this.

Surely your Christmas shopping is done online at Arsenal.com or in The Armoury.. You must realise how important your money is in the development of the club.

The League's Most Boring Team 0 Sunderland 0

Giroud to get injured for 3 months meaning that injured Feo will need to be rushed back to save us from the prospect of super quality Joel Campbell being our sole fit forward

Living the 'competing with Europe's elite' dream once more. Still, only 18 months or so to the next contract extension

It's all about expectation management nowadays , we had some great years under Wenger and we went from Highbury to the Bowl with high hopes for the future which hasnt panned out .
Whilst we were sold the lie about us competing with the best in the world the reality was that the chief shareholders Dein and Fizman were simply beefing up the Turkey waiting for the payday .

As a fan u either get angry or get apathetic ,I was going to get angry ,but ultimately I couldnt be bothered !

Don't bother posting then you muppet. OK we got a 2nd string team at the moment but I expect & hope we can win it otherwise why bother supporting the team. :barscarf: :barscarf:
