Olympiakos Away Match Day 6

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'll be watching this clash of the titans with fuck-all expectations.

I might play some Barry White to get in the mood :barscarf:

That 16th Qualification in a row from the Group Stage of the Champions League Trophy is on the line!

We'll either be bollocks and lose, bollocks and win 2-1 or thrash them 4-0. I'm not quite sure what would be best. Through or out, makes little difference when we play Barcelona or Real Mardid or PSG and get beaten 18-0 on aggregate after missing a penalty at 0-0 in the first leg of the second round.

Colourful...very colourful.

We will either romp to a 4 - 1 victory or we will lose as they kick us to pieces and we limp home with more injuries than an Arsenal Team in Mid December :rubchin: :?

Roll on a last 16 dicking from one the big boys, so exciting.
It will be a no lube required kind of evening on Wednesday. Win by 2 goals and as you say the mushroom cloud will stretch from North London to Pireus, fail to win by 2 and will be down to "leetle bit special circumstances" we can look forward to having 2 cups we can win once more !

it is like slow drawn out torture.

either we get our annual euro humiliation in early on Wednesday or we heroically win by 2 goals against mighty Olympiakos to set up our more traditional annual euro humiliation sometime in March.

can't wait

For me, it is important to win so that we don't have to go into the Europa League. We can't do Europa and win the top 4 trophy,

why not?

in any case what is the point of the top 4 trophy?
i was led to believe finishing 4th would help secure top transfer signings.
well that didnt happen last summer did it?

To help poor old Stanley throughout this period of economic hardship in America obviously... he's not made of wigs you know!

I was being sarcastic about the top 4 trophy!!I think Europa is tough because of the distances to travel and the amount of matches to play. We should be so lucky on that one! :D

I also can't want Arsenal to lose a match. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I hope we lose. The only ones who will benefit from us going through are the money men at the club and of course, Wenger. What does winning do for any of the fans except to witness another hammering in Feb followed by a litany of Wenger excuses. Fuck him I hope he gets drilled. If anybody needs taking down it's this charlatan.

This - I'm practically praying for Europa League qualification, just to draw out his humiliation for as long as possible
