I agree, but whilst I am a bit fed up with Klopp moaning about so many fixtures - he must have know what the Prem was like, especially over Christmas - I do think it's a bit ridiculous having to play a semi-final on Tuesday in the League Cup, then having to play another cup match on the Friday.

I remember those feelings - in a lot of ways they were what made the cup what it was even though you were scared shitless that it was going to be your team on the wrong end of an upset. These days something has changed about the 3rd round of the cup - I dunno if it is down to the devaluing of the cup, the arrogance of us that we don't expect to lose to a minnow so don't fret about it, or if it is down to general apathy around the club :? God I would love to wind football back to where it used to be :(

I haven't actually seen much of United this season so presumed that all of this talk about how poor their football is has been blown out of proportion due to the media's distaste for van Gaal.

Fuck me was I wrong - I've only watched 11 minutes and it's torture. Although watching that League One player absolutely waltz around Schweinsteiger into the box was priceless

Shame really as they are going to have to sack van Gaal soon and then they might actually appoint a good manager - think Guardiola will jump at the job because of the combination of the rock-bottom expectations following Dumb and Dumber and the deep pockets of the club.

Funnily I've not heard anybody complaining about us not signing Martial in the last few months

Nor Schweinsteiger. Massive ask really to start in PL football at his time of life TBF, is he even slower than BFG .... Rather glad Augie didnt have the AFC chequebook the day they signing him

3-2 now. I love the way the Oxford scorer for their third goal saw the counter attack was on and sprinted up the field to take the pass.

3-2 Oxford - what a result for them.

Huge huge game for Swansea on Wednesday at home to Sunderland - desperately need 3 points to stop the rot as they have quite a few winnable games coming up.

Cracking game between Oxford and Swansea - obviously nowhere near as exciting as a Group match between Zenit and Gent - but good cup football nonetheless

Thought it was a great game to watch. Oxford produced lots of good football.

A tidy goal by Montero but not enough.

Bonus points to Oxford fans for:

*Lower League songs
*Ultras banner
*Forza United banner

Wind in your neck there buddy cos I hadn't a Scooby doo who the kid was when they signed him so I def didn't advocate buying him  In fact I was one of those questioning the guy when he went 2 months without scoring for them 8)

Obviously showing United and Chelsea home games against lower league opposition are better games as well.
