To a domestic rival? No. To a team on the continent? Yes.

A good player, and a rarity in our squad as he’s a midfielder who scores the odd goal; but if £50m is the figure we’re talking about then yes, I’d sell him.

Provided that the money (all of it) went into signing a top-drawer replacement, and not just left to gather interest.

Not that I want to sell him. But his fucking around, flicks and tricks are maddening, as is his sometimes thinking he is a striker.

If only he could keep it simple, as he did in 2013-14. He had his 'Charlie George moment' in the FA Cup final to end the drought. His screamer against the turks was legendary.

Then again, TOF playing him on the wing doesn't help

Too inconsistent and to be honest, there are much better players out there. For £50M, we could get a vastly superior player.
