Barca Home Tuesday 19.45

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They're playing at the moment and Suarez has them 1 up after just six minutes with get this, their first attempt on goal

That's not football, pfffffff fuck that....don't they know you should first have had 20+ attempts of slashing at the ball with all the composure of a newborn giraffe before scoring. Fuck em.

okay if you say so.
Don't get me wrong, I think they'll outplay us for the most part! As someone said above, I think it will be typical of us to match them here but lose horrifically over there. They're much better than us obviously, but I think we can really put up a performance in big games at home. Time will tell :-P

Their away record in Europe is not very great at all and they've never beaten us at ours. We beat their best team ever in 2011 with Djourou and Eboue in the back four. We're a considerably better side now and they're not.

2-1.

We will fu.ck them up big time as a hat-trick from the mercurial Walcott, and an overhead scissors kick from 30 yards by mertesacker, see's The Arsenal cruise home by a 4-1 scoreline 8) :barscarf: :barscarf:

We haven't played well at all this year, we scraped wins v sunderland and newcastle after similar displays to today, and bournemouth was pretty much two shite teams on sleeping pills

all in all, i hate watching us play. going to united away next week just to get fucked out of my face and meet up with some old mates

We will get roasted, but people are going on like it's Arsenal's fault for not being as good as these Cuntalan shitburgers

They're better than anyone else in Europe by a distance, it will be a Barcelona / Bayern final nailed on, unless the draw prevents it, and the Germans are the only other side in world football in my view that can possibly stop this lot.

And yes I know we shouldn't be in this position every time, but if we'd got past a Zenit in this round, the bumholing would only then be delayed a round.

3-1 to Barca. It will be 3-0 and they will take their foot off the gas and we will grab a goal. The return leg will be a bumholing for certain.... :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

We've been absolutely battered twice at home to them and won one and drawn one.

The idea of Messi/Neymar/Suarez vs Mertesacker is lolz but they don't normally put away sides in the way that their dominance deserves.

Went to the 2010 game and that side was unlike anything I have seen before or since. Mesmerising in possession, Xavi in particular knew what he was doing three passes before he got the ball and we couldn't lay a glove on them for 70 minutes - although the thing that team never got enough credit for was how hard they pressed to win it back when they lost it - they would have good teams lashing the ball anywhere.

The only game we have played well in was United at home, and we couldn't sustain that for the 90. We've scraped a win so many times. It just shows how weak the league is this season that we are still in contention.

You missed out the word "again" mate.

It can't be any worse than 28 August 2011 (Man Utd 8 Arsenal 2) but whatever happens it won't be Le Wanker's fault cos it never is!
