Besides that, if a miracle occurred and we did go on to win it or reach the final - That would be all the ammo wiggycunt and clueless would need to have him sign up for another 5 years or so.

Only game I'm looking forward to in the next few weeks. Obviously the second leg against Barca is much more important :banghead:

As for caring about the title race? City's to lose. Watching Leicester right now and amazed that shit defence is holding up - freak of nature, but it won't continue. Sperz and us the two bottle jobs in the league

Agreed. This season has been dog shit and, as they say, you can't polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter. The FA Cup can be our glitter.

Fuck Wenger - we'll all be here long after he's gone, and most of us were here long before he arrived

Another cup (which has no fucking bearing whatsoever on whether he stays anyway), and another potless season for those c.unts from up the road

Indeed. I fancy us for the cup than the league. TOF hasn't been capable of winning titles for a fucking decade :banghead:

I want three in a row. It is the ONLY thing left in this shitcunnt of a season :barscarf:

Not to say I wouldn't want another trophy in the cabinet, but top players don't stay for FA Cups. Winning the league and CL are all that matter these days.

Yep as we all know "top players do not ask 'did you win the League Cup'. They ask 'do you play in the Champions League' "

Which of course is why so many of the stayed with us despite the fact that we qualify for it every year

18 years in a row CL qualification, nothing to be scoffed at you ungrateful sod. Be careful what you wish for.

I am no Wenger fan, and think he's time is up. But there is no guarantee that when this old bugger leaves. Things will change overnight. Look at Man U and also Liverpool to a certain extent. Fergie packed it in and 3 years on they are still in a pretty shit place.
Just because Wenger leaves don't anyone get it in to their heads. We will now become PL champions and CL winners. It could take years and many managers before we find sustain success.

I hope not, but it is a possibility

I agree - but is it not better to try and fail, then to accept failure and subscribe to this for 3 more years? People forget the Rioch year, but its proof that (a) we might not get it right first time, but more importantly (b) what does that matter if something then comes along for the better

The only reason people are scared of Wenger leaving is because we've now been playing in the CL for 17 years and therefore if you're a relative youngster you can only ever remember us being in it and are paralysed by fear of what might happen if we drop out of it. Personally I've spent more years without it than with it and couldn't give a flying fuck if we were out of it for 2-3 years.....just as long as when we do eventually get back in it, that we have a manager who sets out to win it and doesn't settle for abject surrender in the last 16

this.

we can beat hull easy, they've never defeated us at their place.

watford are a decent side but if the fans are up for it we can get into them and put them under pressure. i remember 2014 liverpool at home in the cup. they were right on top form, creating chances for fun, but we go 2-0 up and hold out for the win. the noise that day was something i hadn't heard at the bowl before. just remember that the cup is still a decent trophy, could well be the first time a side wins it three in a row. lets make the best out of this season :barscarf:
