As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
As much as I applaud Leicester's amazing achievement and welcome the shake up of the "old order" that this season has provided, I still can't wait for this season to be done with. It's a strange mixture of bitterly disappointing and incredibly embarrassing that Top 4 Arsenal PLC has yet again been unable to mount a serious title challenge. This time Wenger's expensively assembled squad of world cup winners and top experienced internationals being comprehensively left in the dust by Leicester City.
Of all the clubs in the top half of the Premier League it seems that we have the very least to look forward to:
Tottenham have had their best season for 20/30 years and the future looks bright, with Kane the sort of player that big clubs pay big money for (or40million plus ONE quid in our case).
Man Utd can only get better, Man City have got Guardiola coming, Liverpool have Klopp and can only be on the up, Chelsea can't do any worse etc.
All we've got coming in the next couple of seasons is more of the same old failed formula and tired excuses. Maybe Walcott might finally bugger off at least. That would be something.

Now you have depressed me because you are right. It will be interesting to see what Leicester do after this season, who they buy etc. Walcott will not leave, nobody would pay his wages and he's on to a good thing with Arsenal.

But remember....its virtually impossible to sign anyone during the Euros so I'm sure Pep, Klopp, whoever Chavski get and LVG / New Messiah will also be forced to idly stand by and just say "ho hum, nobody's officially for sale"

Now you've depressed me as I recall of the dribble that comes out of Wenger's mouth. Can't be in January, can't buy in major competition summers, can't be in non-major summers as there is nobody knocking on the door, or even for that matter, better than what we have...

Walcott wont go who the fuck would buy him anyway but Sanchez and Ozil might. They both left Barcelona and Madrid for this top 4 finish shit
Think we will win this, West ham will hopefully have put ManUre out of the Cup by then (replay is this week isn't it?) . Arsenal will continue the winning run and Wenger will speak of the promise of this squad, allied to the £75m war-chest in the Emirates vaults the future is bright..Or so the media and AKBs will tell us.
Bilic is the sort of young and hungry manager (like Pochettino and Koeman) who can expose Wenger's tired old formula. Definitely not an easy game but with the pressure off, we'll probably play like world beaters ( ), whilst the Hammers have one eye on the FA Cup game with Man Utd.
I genuinely wouldn't count arsenal out of the title race just yet. It looks unlikely that Leicester will collapse but you never know, every game that passes sees the pressure ramped up and none of their players have much experience of it. They're doing enough, just, but I think they'll drop at least 8 points by the end of the season.
If they do then it's up to you to win every game. It's a big ask but you've only really got man city away that looks frightening and they've been hit and miss this season. I can understand the negativity, I wouldn't be putting money on arsenal winning the title but you never know.

They're doing what champions do though, scraping a win when it could have been a draw or a loss. I can't see them losing it now.
