Not just Messi, Clint Dempsey, Sanchez and Maradona too!casgooner wrote:And he'll be going to the Euros, which will result in a red card, he can't handle Leicester players bettering him, what will he be like when the likes of Messi get at him?northbank123 wrote:Rooney has yanked down Gray off the ball right under Oliver's nose and he has bottled what was a clear free kick on the edge of the box and a second yellow.
The bloke is a fucking useless central midfielder. Just lumbers around the pitch and is so ponderous when he gets on it before almost invariably trying to spray s needless cross-field ball. They're supposedly paying him 300,000 a week to do this.

Re: Oops
So now I'll be hoping for a Chavs win to end the Spuds chances of winning the league once and for all.
FUCK OFF WENKER

Re: Oops
Big difference watching Arsenal and Leicester is the work rate and how quick the Leicester forwards get back to defend when they loose possession they really put a shift in......
Giroud, Walcott take note......
TBF we play a more intricate game, based on technical ability but often manifests itself as sideways possession football with no end product, and of course we have lazy ineffective strikers which does not help

Re: Oops
I'd be hoping for a Chav win against them even if it was the first game of the season and we can have the luxury of a draw so nobody wins except Leicester.Leyton Gooner wrote:So now I'll be hoping for a Chavs win to end the Spuds chances of winning the league once and for all.

Are we now certain of going into the CL play-offs at least?

No but we are now certain of some kind of European humiliation next season!casgooner wrote:I'd be hoping for a Chav win against them even if it was the first game of the season and we can have the luxury of a draw so nobody wins except Leicester.Leyton Gooner wrote:So now I'll be hoping for a Chavs win to end the Spuds chances of winning the league once and for all.

Re: Oops
Obviously, the only way to win matches is to score goals, so even if we were the best team to watch, which we're not, it would still mean zilch if we didn't at least challenge for the league. Don't care how we score, just bloody get someone in who can score 20+ goals per season.Redarmy wrote:Big difference watching Arsenal and Leicester is the work rate and how quick the Leicester forwards get back to defend when they loose possession they really put a shift in......

Yes, just looked at the table again, I was looking before assuming that we will beat Villa, don't assume anything this season!Red Snapper wrote:No but we are now certain of some kind of European humiliation next season!casgooner wrote:I'd be hoping for a Chav win against them even if it was the first game of the season and we can have the luxury of a draw so nobody wins except Leicester.Leyton Gooner wrote:So now I'll be hoping for a Chavs win to end the Spuds chances of winning the league once and for all.

Yes, a typical Wenger buy. No good for Chelsea who we should consider to be our rivals for the title, but he'll do for us!Redarmy wrote:Yes agreed been saying that for years....Get a striker who can score 25 goals a season....but what do i know i aint been in football 30 years unlike lord Wengercasgooner wrote:Obviously, the only way to win matches is to score goals, so even if we were the best team to watch, which we're not, it would still mean zilch if we didn't at least challenge for the league.
