Palace have been a bit unlucky with free kicks when the ref could have played the advantage. The first one I can see that he might have blown thinking the Palace player was down and wouldn't get up, but not the second one.

Yeah once was bad enough ... to repeat the mistake is unforgivable.

Actually, he could have played the advantage after the Mata yellow card. Is he a Fergie ref?

Palace have only got themselves to blame. They put in a good showing overall but just didn't have it in them to win the game.

After going 1-0 up they panicked and criminally shipped in almost immediately despite having looked comfortable until then. Likewise after United went down to 10 Palace withdrew and United looked more likely to score and duly did.

Whereas the English finals (like this one) are always entertaining spectacles for all the neutrals?

Christ if they start showing Scottish football on the Beeb then I'll just save myself the licence fee and watch my dog curling out a turd instead.

At least my dog probably understands the difference between football and religion unlike the Old Firm

Overall, United were the better team, but, Palace should have taken the match to them in the second half of extra time, but they were like rabbits in headlights. I seriously hope we are not going to buy Carrick as mentioned earlier. United are crap and they don't want him, would show real ambition by Arsenal, as usual to buy him.

So let's get this right - United sack LVG 2 hours after winning the FA Cup and 4 days after their fans chanted you're getting sacked in the morning at him as he tried to address them on the pitch after the final home game.

Yet we are the classless scum for holding up respectful banners at the end of games. Give me fucking strength.

I didn't see that, did they really just drown him out as he was speaking to them?
