We will see if Wenker again shows double standards with his talk about keeping players with good momentum in the team to keep it going.Ray C wrote:Agree -flash gunner wrote:Tight game 1-0 or 1-1

Mr.Bard's been checking family album on facebook......Excellent
Been a rough few months for us lot, sister was a bit off, but her period started so that was a big relief...for me anyway.
Valentines day was a bit tetchy to, (its actually mothers day aswell up here) so you can well imagine it was like a powder keg ready to explode. That's family for you. Enough about me, how's the fruit 'n' veg stalls doing, I bet you're all minting it in, with this Brexit malarkey, at least you can sell any shape of cucumber and bananas now, bloody foreigners telling us what's best, but not for much longer eh ?
Been a lot of talk about abuse in football in the 70' and 80's. Not brilliant and lots of people have a lot to answer for. I remember my dad hand massaging the the junior team I played for in the 70's, he once pulled me off at half-time..... but we did go on to win. That's life.
Big game this weekend, hoping for a point, but it'll probably be no points, we'll see. Have a good Christmas and a happy new year,

be disappointed if Xaha does not play....bet Wenger is desperate to get Ramsey back in the teamWilson wrote:Performances like that need to be rewarded.
Ferguson in his autobiography often spoke of rewarding players on the fringes with successive starts if they play a great game the match before. As the carrot and stick method shows players on the fringes that a first team spot is within reach, whilst also signalling to first team players their place is never certain. Obviously it keeps everyone sharp and non-complacent.
Perez must start. Theo hasnt been terrible of late, but just let Theo know that his place in the team isnt certain. Its the only time Theo does well - when he feels threatened or is playing for a new contract. But when he is settled, thats when he can become absolute dog shit.
Cech, Bellerin (fit again), Kos, Mustafi, Monreal, Coquelin, Xhaka, Iwobi, Perez, Ozil, Sanchez.
I wouldn't start Iwobi. He's been pretty anonymous over the last month or so and isn't contributing much in attack or defence,Wilson wrote:Performances like that need to be rewarded.

Hes a youngster earning big money....thats where your man management comes in Mr Wenger
Because his Ego will not let him delegate and basically he is involved in everything nothing gets done properly

Remember how he destroyed AA23. I recall at the time we signed him he started very brightly. Augie went so far as to say AA23 was the closest thing we had to a new Bergkamp up to that point - and he was right. When played in the right position AA23 had real vision and fantastic technical ability.OneBardGooner wrote:DB10GOONER wrote:Iwobi has been awful for a couple months now. How unusual that a young player with much potential should become pap under wenker's (mis) tutelage....
Chambers & the Ox are prime examples of his ability to truly nurture young talent so they lose all sense of self, lose all confidence and become shyte
