I think it is highly unlikely that the election will affect that result.Sean wrote:The Tories should walk it, seeing what a shambles Labour are and the Lib Dems are an irrelevance. That's some democracy Britain has. Two/three shite parties; shite election.
I live in Corbyn's constituency and the wanker always gets in. it's the safest seat in the country and under this shite, outdated first-past-the-post system - which was useful back in the days of just two candidates per seat - my vote is wasted. Proportional representation is the fairest system, but out shitcunt establishment will never bring that in.
Whatever happens, I hope the referendum result is not subverted in any way.
I voted to remain and overall still think we'd be better off but over the last few months I think support for leaving has grown. The behaviour of the Eurocrats has been appalling and they've alienated more people than before the referendum.
What does amaze me is that the Tories could even suggest they would still allow free movement of labour after Brexit. That is the one issue most people voted on!!!

I think you'll find most people voted on was uncontrolled immigration, i believe the Tories are planning to bring in visas which will still allow EU entry into the country but it wont be totally uncontrolled, thats what i believe anyway. Im not a Tory voter but i think this is goodSPUDMASHER wrote:I think it is highly unlikely that the election will affect that result.Sean wrote:The Tories should walk it, seeing what a shambles Labour are and the Lib Dems are an irrelevance. Poor fucking Donna! Just because she got knocked up at 15, took no responsibility for herself, put the dad's name on Tylers' birth certificate as 'some bloke' and sponged of society for her living! I'm supposed to feel guilty because she 'struggles' to make ends meet! *word censored*!!!!!

Preaching to the choir here brother. Ireland has an entire underclass of dirty lazy slags called "Sharon" or "Rosemary" that could not stay sober, or keep their fucking legs closed, have never worked a day in their life, and are now living on the government tit whilst drinking all day with their teenage vodka buddy Tracey in their grief-bunker housing estates with 3 obnoxious kids called "Cristal", "Jordan" or "N-aa" (pronounced Endasha because "dat dash ain't silent") from 2 or 3 different "fathers" (also known as drunken fuckwits "Anto" from the local pub, "Steo" from "dat festival last year" and "Deco" from the wall out the back of the chippy down the road) and all paid for by muggins here's taxes because muggins here gets up every day and goes to work.SPUDMASHER wrote:Oh Bollox I've got myself started now!!!!!

These people you describe are very stereotyped, they do exist but not in the numbers people seem to think..... The cost of 'supporting' these bums are minimal, really really small. Most people claiming benefits are/were/want to be hard working people who for whatever reason have fallen on hard times. Dont get caught in the hype of all unemployed are scum
If we really need to save money in these austere times we should NOT cut benefits from the disabled and unemployed we should start claiming the correct amounts of tax from the massive corporations that get away with it, these figures go into billions and would sort things out a lot quicker than cuts, especially cuts to the needy

Nope. Not a right winger by any means. Ireland has a huge number of these non-working sponging single mothers. It's not an urban myth. I find their lifestyle all the more offensive because I work with 2 single mothers that work hard and pay their own way even though they would probably be slightly better off on benefits.flash gunner wrote:You both read The Mail right?DB10GOONER wrote:Preaching to the choir here brother. Re: May calls for General Election 8th June 2017
I have a friend who's daughter lives in Dartford. She has three kids 11,13 and 17 by three different fathers. She has not worked a day in the last 18 years. She somehow has a car provided by the state and claims every fucking benefit known to man. There is nothing wrong with her at all but she does not work and somehow never has to demonstrate any attempt to find work. She now has a boyfriend that is a lazy fuck who claims to have a bad back and can't work. He spends most of his free time golfing! At Christmas they posted a photograph on Facebook of their tree. The presents below it spread two thirds of the way across the living room floor. I can't afford to do that! They both smoke and drink. They complained that they cannot afford a holiday and somehow the state provided them one to Greece last year. They're putting in an application again this year. They have regular parties at their house and they both have an occasional cocaine habit. they have a social life that would put most people to shame. They then have the nerve to bitch and complain that their council tax bill has increased by £4.76 a year and they now have to pay extra because of a greedy Tory government that punishes the poor!!!!!!!! They even have the nerve to comment that they don't know why they pay council tax when the police are so shit anyway. That's probably a benefit to them given what they have in their house most of the time!
When I lost my job last July she phoned me to tell me what to say to get entitlement to more benefits beyond basic jobseekers allowance. I was out of work for a month. I didn't even go near the benefits office. I tightened my belt and went for a fuck load of job interviews to get back into gainful employment. I was lucky and got a job after only 4 weeks of trying. I had to, I had no choice. I couldn't bear the thought that her benefit might get cut because I wasn't paying my taxes anymore!
Please don't tell me these people are stereotypes that don't exist. They're out there in their thousands.
We shouldn't give them benefit money to spend on booze, fags and the bookmakers. They should be given a percentage of their benefit in supermarket vouchers for food and vouchers for clothing etc. Whilst our totally broken benefits system continues to hand out cash only they will never have the incentive to try and work.

Re: May calls for General Election 8th June 2017
mate that is an extreme case i dont doubt there are other like that but not all on benefits are like that yet if you read certain paper you would think everyone is like it. By cutting benefits you're using a sledgehammer to crack a nut, so many people will lose out who have done nothing wrong to punish the few who are abusing the system. Cutting disability benefits is a different argument but an even more disgusting one that the Tories seem happy to use while turning a blind eye to big corporation taxes, with which they could make the country fortunes. The benefit cheats cost the country virtually nothing compared to these big business tax scams......SPUDMASHER wrote:I have a friend who's daughter lives in Dartford. I would be happy to replace some benefits with a voucher scheme
