Jamie Carragher the gobbing Scouser

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not sure what happened prior to the video but that hardly constituted abuse by the Man Utd fans in the car..it was very mild really.

Always thought Neville was a thick shit when he was a player. But as a pundit, he is one of the best, certainly better than any former Arsenal players (Keown, Henry etc) perhaps with the exception of Dixon.

Carragher if you can work your way through the thick scouse accent also makes some interesting thoughtful commentaries. No excuses for what he did though, that's a sackable offence IMO. Just get that fucking driver too, he could have killed someone trying to video Carragher from the steering wheel.

I see Carragher regularly when I do the school run through Crosby and he's never spat at anyone.
Still a complete twat at reacting and could get done for affray if the driver wants to press charges.
Stupid and disgusting thing to do in any walk of life. He wasn't at work, he was on the motorway being goaded.
It bugs the hell out of me that the protagonist thinks he can take the moral high ground. Great example to his daughter by winding up and shouting abuse at an ex-player of the team you've just beaten.
I'm sure a few on here have reacted to being goaded by opposing fans in a way they are not proud of. I know I have.

The driver won't do anything apart from milk the press. If he presses charges for sure the police will want to know what the fuck he's doing videoing an ex-footballer from his driver's seat. It's more assault than affray though.

Players always say that another player spitting at them is the worst thing they experience. Funny how some of them are happily positioning him for a return to Sky...."he's contrite"...."be a shame to lose his job" blah blah fucking blah. Fuck me, we are left with Vinny Jones and Joey Barton as the moral compass in calling Carragher out as a twat. He should be sacked from Sky end of. Did you see him on Sky after being forced to watch the incident....you can't condone that sort of thing....he actually fucking commentated on his actions rather just say I'm a complete twat and I lost my head - sorry. As for the police/CPS they could do him for RTA offences if they wanted to irrespective of the assault aspect which depends on the driver making a complaint. Be interesting to see if anything happens.

I've only just read what the Manc supporter said (2-1 Jamie lad). I'd assumed he'd sworn, insulted his mother, threatened his kids, but no; he just reiterated the score.

Carragher's reaction was vile, totally OTT and out of all proportion to what was said to him, and he should get sacked. Keys and Gray went for far less, and many others in all forms of public life have been sacked for less.

On top of that his accent could strip paint , he's thick as pigshit and boring to boot.
