Mickeys Home 03/11/18 5.30pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This will be the real acid test for us. A side who will fly out of the blocks and will punish a slow start. A side who will press us fast and high up the pitch, and test our commitment to playing from the back.

They were too fast for Spurs at Wembley and played them off the pitch. They nicked the ball off their midfielders time and time again and spurs just couldn’t get going.

Whichever manager employs the best tactics should win this game. As everyone here is expecting this is the acid test for us so far this season.
I believe overall that both managers study their opposition and employ what tactics they think to try and win the game.

We've had a long run of teams outside the top 6 and so this will be a very good description of where we really are.

Emery's Seville dismantled Klopp's Liverpool in Europa League final 2016, when Liverpool were clear favourites. Tactically, Emery has the beating of Klopp.
In these games it's who starts the fastest, and during our 11 game winning streak, we never started quickly and in control.
We can beat this Liverpool team, in the midfield. Despite his indifferent form Ramsey normally turns up for these games.
Defence just needs to remain tight, like they did at sporting.

If Mustafi doesn't play, it will be 1-1.

If Mustafi plays, it will be 1-3.

Either way, can't see us winning.

If we can soak up that first 20 minutes of the mouser onslaught the victims run out of ideas and we could dominate the second half and win 2-1. If we concede in that first 20 I could see us losing 1-3 or 1-4 easily. :|

The Mouser's defence has improved but they are still brain fart prone and we will score. The question is will our defence gift their front 3 a couple of easy ones.

Emery totally out thought "tactical genius" Kloppity Klown in the Europa final and hopefully he will again. The problem is if shit like Comedy Iwobi and Mustafalaugh start we are basically playing with 9 players.

If those two start we lose 1-3. If not, we could win it 2-1 or draw.

I hope to fuck we at least get a draw because the sight of media whore Klopp playing to the fucking camera makes me want to kill people and also the two faux mouser "fans" in work will be the smuggest cùnts on planet Earth if they win. :censored:

I too would start the Welsh Messi-Lite ahead of Comedy Iwobi as he does have a habit of scoring in these type of games.

Also we cannot play Xhaka at full back in this game. The Mouser's would rape the shit out of him down that wing.

we are such slow starters I fear Liverpool will blow us away by half time,if we want anything from this game we will have to ride our luck.a point will be a great result and might shut the pundits up

Three Victims fans in work ladt Friday morning discussing how impressive they were in the Champions League.. One asked who are we playing Saturday..Another answered we are playing Arsenal the following week. Then one asked were they on Sky?, final comment was that one of them had read who they were playing against because the opposition were something like 33/1 to win..but he couldn't remember what team it was..

I "Hate" these thieving, gobshyte, whinging, cuntbags with a vegence... They all think they know more than everyone and anyone else, they think they are entitled to an eternity of empathy and a Free Pass because - they once suffered a tragedy - They have NEVER accepted the blame for the Heysel Stadium deaths - even though it was all down to their stealing in for nothing fans. They all talk like they've got a gob full of phlegm and the world owes them all a living - Even thugh 99.9% of the roobbing lazt cuntss have never done a decent days work in their miserable lives.

FuckOFF you scouseCUNTS.

Conventional wisdom suggests that we should clatter salah in the first ten minutes and put him out of the game, but I would much rather it happens to van dijk - I honestly believe that their defence would be as shit as ours without him, so we would have a chance then

mickey's mum will be pleased :barscarf:

as for the game, this is one of those fixtures where you just know they'll be out the blocks and knocking the ball with full confidence right from the off, a couple of solid challenges on their flair players would be welcome. tough but fair, not dangerous or cynical.

ok, maybe few flying challenges 8)

Bin dippery, bin dippery, bin dip you do.
You hit your women, you rob and sniff glue.

Hate this club more than any other in football.

2-2.

Can we get Ramos on loan for one game so he can pull Salah's shoulder out of the socket again? :D
