My biggest concern is that we’ll be knackered from yesterday’s efforts. I just hope he doesn’t rotate too much, but I fear he will. Utd like ending our ‘unbeaten’ records!
agree with this - the most important thing for me on Wednesday will be to keep the unbeaten run going, so I would take a draw now.
Obviously we are more than capable of winning, but sometimes these smaller sides can surprise.

This may be a case of after the Lord Mayor's show. Hopefully though it will be the momentum of yesterday carring us through. It is a big ask to go to Old Trafford and reproduce the intensity of yesterday. Guendouzi will surely start ahead of suspended Xhaka and I wouldn't be surprised to see Ramsey start ahead of Mikatharian. Too many passive defeats up there in the last ten years...Time to change that..

That's the word that matters......intensity. We haven't seen too much of it this season but suddenly there was bucketloads on display yesterday. If we can keep that going then we have a real chance of getting a result at OT and getting back into the top four. Now we know it's in them I want to see much more of it in the future. Brilliant.

Tim Sherwood you are a cu.nt.

We've become better under our new manager and they've become worse under theirs so I expect this to be more like the old rivalry matches we used to get when we played them.
Hope we can keep up the intensity we showed for the derby.

C'mon you gooners!!

They look dodgy. We might be a bit leggy late on.

2-0 to us. Laca & Kola.

& Maureen to get the tin tack. :barscarf:
Um.... who is "Kola"?
Kolasinac. aka the Butcher of Bosnia :box:

i have the feeling that he is soon going to score a blaster like Nutty would occasionally.

i hope we play a possession game to stir up the ill feeling and OT and play a very clean game. don't give the crowd anything to fight for.

a point is fine, but we have to aim higher if we want 3rd or even 2nd.

My chief concern too. My next worry is that the dirty elbowing c.unt (foulani) will score a header against us like he usually does  Odds on that he will try to break up torreira from minute one, cos the world and it's mother knows that torreira is the main man for us now. I hope that when (not if) the belgian c.unt (and the sneaky spanish crunt herrera) starts his dirty bullsh.it, that sokratis and kolasniac step in and let him know that nobody fcuks with any of our players without the others having his back 8)

The dozi starting instead of xhaka is a certainty, but it is further up that will pose the questions - personally I do not think that ramsey will be suited to starting this game (or indeed most away games) cos his free spirited attitude and loose ball retention (flicks) will bring a shit load of trouble on the team, and I wonder if ozil would be a better option here :rubchin: I think that ozil would command more attention from the manc midfielders, and release more freedom to our two strikers (assuming both start).

Fatigue after playing such a high intensity game just 3 days previously (in comparison to their lazy slow paced game 4 days ago) might be a big factor. I would absolutely take a draw if it was offered to me right now, but it is proving hard to keep my feet on the ground and not start believing that we will win up there.

Want to see Lacazette and Ramsey both start.

Iwobi is absolute shite same with Mkhitayran.

I'm with augie on this one. We simply cannot start the Welsh Messi-Lite up there. He pisses possession away and too many attacks just break down at his feet through indecision and silly shit like flicks and backheels. They will be physical and press in the middle and you cannot afford to scupper the few chances we might get through some dickhead thinking he's playing 5-aside....

Fellaini Gump will do his usual and go around elbowing and stamping etc so hopefully someone puts an early reducer through his achilles and ends his career. 8)

Still fancy us for the away win as Dick is on the up (ooer matron) while Moron-hio is a flaccid limp excuse for an erection - I meant manager. I meant manager!

But tbh I'd take the draw with no injuries right now just to keep the run going.

When you go 19 games unbeaten every game is a big game cos opposition teams all want to knock you off your perch and I get that, but in some ways tomorrow night's game is bigger than the one against the scum - if we lose people will dismiss us and claim that sunday was indeed a cup final to us and that we don't have the quality to sustain our top 4 challenge, but if we win up there then we will have had back to back big wins, and then we might get the respect due to us

Agree, I know what you mean for us the NLD is much the bigger game but as a statement two back to back wins would be huge.

I did say before the NLD i would take 4 points from the two games  but now we have the first 3 might as well goals balls out for the 6.

I wonder what the portugese pardew will be thinking about this one, he knows a heavy defeat will probably get him sacked, but a draw will not help his fast fading top 4 chances. normally when backed into this type of corner he plays for a draw :rubchin:
