Hardly the Footballing version of the Treaty of Versailles

"Two years of hurt"? A Final and a Semi-final with the second string side seems pretty good to me.
Lets have it right - four years out of five.

Which I believe is our best record ever in that competition, not bad for a reserve side.

My final word on this is as follows.....

I love Arsenal so much that I hate to see any kind of Arsenal beaten, in whatever competition, against whatever opposition, it makes my blood boil!

OK, the league cup is no big deal to a club of our stature however, I believe the "experience" gained in winning this competition would be a fantastic launch pad for even greater success in the seasons to come.
