Watched most of their game Saturday against dirty Leeds and the thing that struck me the most is that they’re a huge side. They play for corners and set pieces and fuck all the tall guys into the box and have Trippier sling it in causing chaos.
That’s the biggest danger we’ll have tonight and they will definitely target us that way. Need a huge game from Saliba and Gabriel back there, no fuck ups allowed.
I want revenge for that horrible night up there at the end of last season when we completely no showed and put the final nail in our CL coffin. That was an abysmal performance for 90 minutes and we were beaten up all over the park.
I’m sure that game will be mentioned in the pre game discussions - time for some payback.
