Riccardo Calafiori Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Riccardo Calafiori has set NEW Records at the Sobha Realty Training Centre training ground
Aerobic lung capacity ✔️
40 M sprint. ✔️
Very impressive stats also in the weight room as his leg press and chest press tied with Gabriel Magalhães and William Saliba at the maximum setting .

Rumours around that he’s done his knee. The same knee that nearly ended his career.

Not sure how true that is, but thought I’d share so you miserable cünts can slag me off when it turns out to be untrue. :D

I saw tht too,but not sure it's true, said he was injured after Trossards goal, but yet he stayed on the pitch till the game was over, surely if that was the case he wouldn't have been able to play on

Riccardo Calafiori was seen with strapping around his knee after the game yesterday.

All last season I was expecting a key injury or two and it never really happened. We were very lucky. And with the paper thin squad we have I have this awful feeling we'll pay for that this year. And so far it's looking like we might. :(

I'm really hoping Calafiori is not injured and the knee support was just precautionary because he has looked superb so far.

Oof those are some of the worst lyrics to a song/chant I've ever read.

He's a superb player and already deserves his own song but those words are cringe inducing.

Not quite Bacharach and David is it?

Tbh, I think I'm getting old. At the ground I have trouble working out what they're singing when these new songs come out and on TV I never have a clue. Just watched OBG's video and I'd be equally clueless if it wasn't for the subtitles, although the words don't seem to scan on the Calafiori song....are they just saying "Cala" rather than Calafiori? The moronic, drunken, faux cockney hardman voices that supporters employ really doesn't help either. Diction old chap, diction.

For the record, I knew the Havertz song, but as I'm one of those who think it was 60 million down the drain, it would be hypocritical of me to join in. 8)
