Valentines Day

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A load of old shit...

(the voice of a married man)

Used to do the flowers and chocs thing when we were dating, but now we'd rather put the shekels towards a babysitter (mad enough to sit for a 2 and a 3 year old  :P ) and a nice meal out.
I'm interested to see the responses to this.

Also, what would a bloke think if a girl who really fancied him (him being basically aware of that fact, and them having had a brief kiss and cuddle recently) sent him a valentines text???

and no its not me, but a friend not sure what to do! I said go for the text -but she's worried it makes her look a bit desperate or silly, so a blokes perspective ??
Id say get in there

I think its a load of old shit too . For a lot of married couples its a day where you are nice to eachother for one day and the rest of the year you argue and act like shits to eachother, I on the other hand am nice to my wife all year round so have Valentines day off she is the luckiest person in the world :D
