Eboue , Troare , Hoyte . Not good enough. We all know that any minute now Panto will be on here giving it to us. The end of the day they were miles better than us and we didnt seem to fight at all. All I can do is echo the comments made previously. I watched the game with my sister and when first saw the line up thought we could do alright, though did say to her they'll go at the full backs. I don't like losing at the best of times but at least put some effort in guys. I really don't think I've seen a worse performance than that in all my years and I was at the QPR game when Jensen scored and we lost 3-1, so that took some topping.
Hoyte simply is not good enough, Traore not far behind. Eboue is a cretin.
It seemed to me like most of the players were just trying to get through the game unscathed, so they could be ok for Milan, and that type of mentality was only ever going to bring one result today.
One bright spot was the crunching tackle Flamini put on Nani shortly after coming on and the way he seemed to taunt him after as if saying don't try that shit again son. If we'd have given just a tenth of his spirit and heart to the starting players we'd have had a chance. Say what you want about his other attributes but the guy is a fucking warrior and I have much respect for him.
This had better be a one off, I'm expecting a very different attitude come Wednesday and will be sorley dissapointed if the same shower of shit turn up against Milan.
