clapping fans at the end

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

While I agree with the sentiment that players should acknowledge fans after a game do you honestly feel that it would have made us feel better if they did ? They should have come over on hands and knees groveling for forgiveness for such an inept performance and I would not accept their recognition after 90mins of the worst effort and team performance I have ever seen from an Arsenal team. With the exception of 1 or 2 the team that not deserve to be clapped at the end and before anyone has a go at me saying that then I would like to point out that most players getting their huge wages dont give a flying fcuk about the fans and a snub after the game from the fans might just let them know that it was unacceptable :evil:

that would have been interesting - although the manure fans would have laughed! Tottenham players would be doing it every week :roll:
