Pancho, you are such a hypocrite. Man Utd had not won the Premiership title for 3 years before last season. Arsenal haven't won it for 3 season as well, now. You always say "If Arsenal was a big club, they'd sack Arsene Wenger"; so why didn't Man Utd do the same when Arsenal won the league unbeaten and Chelsea won it two seasons in a row. Every club has "dry" and transitional periods.

2002–03 Manchester United
2003–04 Arsenal
2004–05 Chelsea
2005–06 Chelsea
2006–07 Manchester United

AS I Said before...

Iv seen you sayin this on a few occasions,
Let me just clear this up for you.

Manchester United are known for their gloryhunting because 1 in 5 people in the Uk support them.

You said that you used to live in London, you must notice the ridiculous amount of people walking around wearing Manchester United stuff when they've never even been to manchester.

My mate for example who 'Supports' Man u has never even been further North than Birmingham, and tells me that he hates the manc accent.
He'd never heard of the Munich Disaster,
He dont give a shit about them until they win when he then rubs it in peoples faces.
And when I ask him why he supports man u he says 'because my aunty (who he has told me he's never met) lives in manchester.'

Its because of the HUGE amount of these types of fans that you get you reputation.
Glory hunters all of them!
Listen to 606 the amount of essex boys 'travellin back from the game' is just stunning.
How can you argue this point? [without using poetic licence]

I cant speak for over 300m people who claim to support the club can I ...however we can look back at historical information and make some judegements

the accusation made by some, that United only gathered support because of the munich disaster is easily refuted........who had the highest average attendance in 1957 prior to Munich....did they all come from guildford?

As for worldwide follwoing well you can see that as a negative or a positive...I would rather they supported united than other teams..and we dont have a sugar daddy so we have to act within the commercial realities, if we want to buy top rate players then we need the cash from malasian replica wearing fans...

I realise that you may have a phobia about certain gobby london types ..so do I .. and it must grate that for all the clubs in london and all the riches that city has ..the biggest club in London is actuallly from manchester.. I feel your pain , but do I care...ermmm..NO

one of the beauties about this game of ours is the feelings we have for our clubs.. and I would never decry anyfan for being passionate and proud of their team...some of you take things too seriously and resort to cyber name calling ..I take it in my stride , it goes with experience....

but dont expect this UNited fan to not have a pop back!!!

thats me done ..enjoy your game tonight .....

Pancho really is a twat.... look how he completely ignored my points and questions because it is convenient.

You have to ask what is his motivation, I welcome rival fans on the board as it adds a little spice and can start interesting debate. However I'd hazard a guess and say that Pancho knows very little about Football and his team (afterall he does get his material from other posters on other boards). Symptomatic of must United fans up and down the country who pace up and down the carpets of boozers from Plymouth to Nottingham sprouting utter ***** about being champions. They're mostly unsuccessful in most things they do and cling to the success of a big team because they need to feel achievment.

Pancho is a total fraud, he claims to be a "mature individual" and being from Manchester. Would a "mature individual" talk about "meth" and "stiff sheets" - I really don't think so.

Totally rumbled and full of shit.....

Rob.

Mate you're really embarassing youself now, proper United fans know about the sympathy vote. Read a histroy book, you're only confirming your status as a Cockney red from Dover.

Pancho, this post contridicts your earlier post of ''So Much for glory hunting''

The Only arguement who have there is about attendance figuers before 1957, The rest of it really supports the fact that you have glory supporters and that you think its a good thing that you do.

Thats fair enough if you are pro-wanabee manc glory supporters, but then dont keep saying ''so much for glory hunting'' if you support and therefore admit that manchester united fans generally are glory supporters.

Why else would someone from kent support manchester united?

To be honest the glory hunting issue is a moot point. Manchester United are not the only club to have a large following outside of their realm. There are tons of Liverpool fans in the south and the rest of England. I needn't inform you of Chelsea's rise in fanship in the last 5 years.

And I've met Gooners from Birmingham, East Anglia, Wales, Yorkshire, Ireland, the West Country as well as further afield. You only have to look on here to see the Irish and Yorkshire contingents of our support.

Sorry to say it, I don't like the word but after reading many Pancho posts I have to call Pancho a *word censored*.

The purpose of this thread was to inflate Pancho's ego. Surely the need to do such a thing over the internet says something about him...

Those of you who have replied to this before now have only contributed to this. So stop it...

You all have the same arguments with him on every thread he posts in so just get over it and ignore him. Eventually he'll piss off to another forum. Maybe posing as a Chelsea fan on a Tottenham forum.
