who was at the game 2day?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was at the game and have to say that the way we got behind the team and the way we sang for eddy was amazin.. think by half time everbody knew the severity of eddy's injury and the second half became a tribute to him. It was fantastic. was proud to be a gooner despite the result not turning out great. At one stage Adebayor nodded in aproval to the traveling support...

Get well soon eddy, .

From memory the Buust incident wasn't even a foul. It was an accidental collision between 3 players and he just fell and twisted awkwardly. I remember they had to cover an area of the penalty area with sand before they could restart because of the amount of blood on the pitch. Peter Schmeichel nearly had to be subbed as he was so disturbed by what he'd seen.

Who was the Villa player who also had a similar injury a few year back? Nilis??

Yeah, it was Luc Nilis. You can see the picture here:
