If you sing the song below that N17 originally posted then you are a fucking *word censored*.
Could you go and buy a stella, Georgie Best?
Could you go and buy a stella, Georgie Best?
Could you go and buy a stella, you've gone all f*****g yella
Could you go and buy a stella, Georgie Best?
Charming song - only a muppet would sing it.

Not your favourite media entertainment I supposeWayno wrote:I'm drunk and heading towards a yellow liverI am allowed to take the piss out of c**ts like George Best. N17 does have a point though, the crowd at the Arsenal have beome so sanitised it is bordering upon Disney. You should all be so fucking ashamed of what has happened

Fuck you Khalid in the most nicest possible way! Whilst I do not want to return to the mid 80's, I do want to return to the days when fans were applauded and expected to show passion. These days if you even dare stand you are wrong. Arsenal have done there best to try and kill off the Old School Support, I think that it is time for an uprising, though it maybe a little to late, the club may have already died....would certainly explain why it is so quiet at the Grove!!!!!

No, he had a self-inflicted condition and was given a chance to live which he threw back in the face of all other "sufferers" (and a good many genuine live transplant cases I would guess). George Best was a fucking disgrace and a hero only to MUFC and Northern Ireland fans.

Ha ha, very funny. Why do they sing that? Oh yeah, it is because he is a Muslim. Absolutely ingenious

Re: The Eduardo chants
I come from a differant era and twas ever thus. Nasty tasteless songs have always been sung at footy. We used to sing nasty stuff about the munichs and the vermin up the road and they've sung nasty stuff about us and others. What goes around comes around and five minutes after the twats with the dumbest accent in the world sung that song yesterday, one of their defenders got an injury that put him out for the rest of the season. If the twats that sung that song got our prawn sandwich eating ashburton grovers going for the first time ever then maybe it was a price worth paying. I can take some dumb arse midlander singing a song at me and can give it back to them as well. It's footy, makes it the game that it is, take away the passion and it's fuckin rugby.N17 Gooner wrote:I like the rest of you don't like them and would rather they were not sung. But I think it's time we stood up and became counted.
We should conduct offensive songs towards the opposition rather than get all sanctimonius and complain to the police about it.
There are so many anti northerner/midlander ditties out there why do we not use them? I'm fed up with us being seen as a soft target for other fans to have a go at.

Intersting how the Sydney Morning Herald reported the chants and 'fighting', but I didn't see any of the British papers mention it:
