i don't think the standards apply to the pitch but to the ground. The points here is more important then the performance. The pitch is a disgrace, Wigan have a good manager, some good players we have no wingers and would really prefer we didn't start Van Persie or use him unless we had no other choice. They key will be getting the right attitude, our back five being strong in the air (that bit worries me) and taking what chances we create as I'm sure Wigan's defence will be difficult to break down.
