As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I've never understood the point of that.
We hate loads of teams and players, standing up and singing a song about them just gives them credit, if anything they just laugh when they see Arsenal fans do it.
It's a bit of a laugh, it's why we go to games aint it? and to support the team....
First of all, the new Ade song is quality, he scored twice at Fulham when it was (supposedly) made.
also the stand up if you hate t*ttenham is a class song, I love singing it, its really loud at times especially when we play the scum, and also you don't sit

Yeah, but it just seems a bit pointless to me. I'm sure it's a laugh to loads of fans, I just tend to roll my eyes whenever I hear it!
Standing up to express my hatred of Spurs is just too much effort, I can do that sitting down.
In that case lets play theo with RvP ?? anything but adebayor at the moment dont you think?.. dont get me wrong he did well scoring a fair few goals early on but when it comes down to it can he handle it? i think not.. look at the milan game for instance that chance at the end , the one on one last week at wigan, 2 clear cut chances that come to the front of my mind that a world class striker would have buried!
adebayor is class IMO but he looks fucked at the mo if you ask me...he's run his heart out all season...a lot of the time on his own up front...you very rarely (if ever) see him hide, a great player to have at arsenal.
If it wasn't for Adebayor we wouldn't even be in the top 5.
I've no idea why, but I've always sensed that many Arsenal fans seem to want to condemn Adebayor at every opportunity they get. It doesn't make any sense.
