Kicking The Ball Out

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And let us not forget that we are the only team EVER to actually offer to REPLAY a game because of a similar incident!

A thing that seems to have been resigned to history, something never mentioned anymore. Yet it was one of the most amazing sporting gestures any football club has ever made.

I think the referee should taken a fair share of the blame for that. After the ball has been kicked out, you often see referees telling the other team to kick the ball to the goal keeper. That didnt happen.

John Terry is perfectly capable of working that out for himself but, as with most English players, he is an arrogant waste of space.

The ref knew Terry was being a mug and gave a cheap free kick to Arsenal straight after when Essien challenge for a header so it didnt really lead to their goal.
