As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Should we have played "You"ll never walk alone" then?
no.
our "anthem" is embarassing at the best of times. When doing it when we are playing Liverpool - its even more embarassing. The Wonder of You is a false load of bullocks
Hang on, we complain when the club is not doing nothing to improve the atmospehere, and now your complaining when the club are doing something? Give em a break, the song probably will never be as big as you'll never walk alone, but i gurantee you it never cought on quickly when they first played it at anfield! just give it a chance!
LIKE I'VE POINTED OUT BEFORE, THE PROBLEM IS THAT 'THE WONDER OF YOU' IS NOT ONE OF THOSE SONGS YOU CAN SING WITHOUT MUSIC - UNLIKE Y.N.W.A.
A GOOD ANTHEM SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE GOT GOING WITH EASE AND BE SUNG WITHOUT THE NEED FOR MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT. UNFORTUNATELY, 'THE WONDER OF YOU' FALLS DOWN ON BOTH THOSE COUNTS.
I just urge anyone who is going to Anfield on tuesday and everyone watching on t,v to take a look at the Kop signing YNWA.Everyone singing, Flags and scarves in the air.We could learn a lot from them. Why can we do the same
I do think you could sing 'the wonder of you' without music, but it needs people to get it going and others to join in. I cant see it happening though can you?
I fucking hate Elvis stuff.
The Wonder of Poo is about as shit as you can possibly get.
Don´t understand why people worship the guy. He was just a singer. Not even a musician. And the thousands of Elvis impersonators can sing just like him. So it's not exactly a rare talent, either.

Are the Madness lads Gooners? I certainly hope so. If I find out that Suggs supports that scum up the road, I'm going to be binning a few cd's out of my collection.
