It's gotta be Superman for me. As a kid watching the Christopher Reeve films it just blew me away how cool he was. He played the characters of Clark Kent and Supes to perfection. The first two films were brilliant, the third ok but the less said about the fourth the better!

"Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.......look! up in the sky, it's a bird,... it's a plane....it's Superman!"

What about Hamish's sidekick, Kevin Mouse? For the younger Roy Of The Rovers readers there's also Andy Steele, Playmaker - a bit like Fabregas he was.

Always loved ROTR. They published a book in 2000/2001 called Roy Race The Playing Years which was a kind of best-of. It's on Amazon at a ridiculous price, but I can't find it anywhere else - anyone know where I can get a copy at a proper price?

Who are Melchester United? I'm sure you mean Melchester Rovers.

I actually own a Warbury Warriors shirt (complete with JARVIS 9 printing) from Striker in The Sun - I have the full collection of the now defunct comic.

My favourite comes from the late 80's, sponsored by Panini. Also a 90's shirt, red and yellow stripes, sponsored by TSB.
