Has Arsene taken Arsenal as far as he can? (2/5)

This seems to have become specifically about Adebayor, but I have been critical about him at times; his lack of control at times and his amount of (legitimate) offsides.

But I have to say that his goal count for the season has been fantastic, and thinking about the other contributors comparison with Henry, it is probably the lack of goals from the rest of the team that has magnified any percieved flaws in Ade's game.

If Henry was having an off day then Pires or Freddie, amongst others, were there to nick a winner.

Eduardo was forming a great patrnership with Ade when he got injured, so maybe he needs someone like him beside him. Bendtner seems to play too deep to pick up his flick ons and link up with him.

As for Wenger taking us as far as he can, we were inches and a few decisions away from success this season, and I have every faith that he can get us more glory next season.

Ade ?
? Cesc ? Hleb
Clichy ? Gallas/Toure Sagna
Almunia

I'd say we have to spend £10m on a centre back, £7m or so on a defensive midfielder, £10m or so on a winger; we'll be struggling to find the money for someone to play with Ade (unless Theo steps up) let alone replace him with someone better
You seem optimistic Hleb will stay next season?
