CL qualifier

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Whats the chances/odds of being drawn to play against bert's new side panathanikos ? Dont know if it is possible but that would be a bastard of a draw :banghead:

Its to do with coefficients and stuff. As they have done reasonably well (compared to the others) they may not be drawn against us but I think it is a good possibility. Athens in August lovely. :roll:

I'd love to get the drogheda draw myself - its been years since The Arsenal played a game over here (in fact I cant remember any but maybe my memory is fucked :oops: ) and it would be a great chance for many of the gooners over here to see them play live 8) :barscarf:

the gunners played over here in dublin about 13-14 years ago
george graham brought them over one wednesday night to play shelbourne.
think it was a 1 all draw

another time they we play shamrock rovers think it was 1986 in miltown

rovers beat arsenal that night !!!

was there as a 10 year old kid

think nial quinn played that night!!!

Drogheda are playing Kyiv tonight in Dublin. Hope they get a result.

I know they have almost no chance of going through and even if they did the cahnces of us drawing them would be small but I just love the idea of Arsenal playing in Dublin. I'd go for the craic even if I couldn't get a ticket.
