Bischoff confirmed

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fabregas was prolific during his time at Barca

Give the guy a chance ffs. Yes it's disappointing we haven't signed a big name, but i am sure we will. Has Wenger ever signed a youngster that has really failed to impress?

I'm all for giving this Bischoff a go. He could be the new Vieira but what does my head in is the Spuds are linked players like Bentley & Arshavin while we go for Bischoff ...WHO.
Why not spend some money on Barry?
But it's all been said B4 and in AW I trust.

Please Please dont tell me this is the signing we have all bin waiting for, most of us expecting a expericaned big name and we get this bloke. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Played 1 1st team game in the uefa cup
Bin injured for most of 07/08 season
21 years old
Not over 6ft (prob cant head the ball which we need in middle of the park)

This signing hasnt even made sky sports news or any other of the websites.

Expectations

Post by lowerwest »

Our reaction is driven by having to watch other clubs like the scumbags down the road and even Fulham spending big money while we ponce about with cast offs and left field signings. I personally think Wenger has taken his mantle as master magician a bit too literally...at the end of the day you get what you pay for. Torres at 20m was a snip but Wenger wouldnt have paid it on principle.

The question is does Wenger really have money or is it earmarked for a big bucket called Stadium?

sagna was voted french defender of the year before he came to arsenal so anyone with a knowledge of football would have known who he was

Would love to be wrong on this one but feels very much like another player to add to the likes of Malz & Mendes categorgy. Why does Arsene never learn? Will be interesting to hear what he has to say about this guy.
